The 3″ touch LCD has a pixel format of 400 x 240. That sounds a bit low compared to the iconic iPhone that has a 3.5″ multi-touch LCD with 480 x 320 pixels. Haptics. I’m sure you’ve heard of it. The Vu incorporates haptics technology to give you touch feedback via vibrations. Haptics is the “science of applying touch sensation and control“. VieTonz has recently been named as the company that Apple might be tapping into for haptics technology in the new iPhone that is rumored to be coming late next Month. VieTonz’s haptics technology is already in a lot of mobile phones. Here’s a list of a few mobile phones that are available in the US:

  • LGE KF700
  • LGE KF510 Tough Lighting Phone
  • LGE AX830 Glimmer
  • LGE VX10000 Voyager
  • LGE VX8800 Venus
  • LGE LX570 Muziq
  • LGE VX8550 Chocolate 2
  • Samsung SCH-A930
