On April 30, 2008, ASUS announced the availability of the G70 gaming notebook PC. The G70 has dual graphics engines, dual hard drives, and dual fan systems as a part of the Multi Dual-Engine architecture. The dual NVIDIA 8700M GT with 512MB graphics will likely lead to some superb gaming performance. The graphics memory alone totals 1GB of GDDR3!

The G70 has an additional LCD that’s called ASUS Direct Messenger. I can’t seem to locate this LCD, but it displays “critical system information, incoming email and message alerts and personalized messages”.
