Samsung LN22A650 22

Samsung’s LN22A650 is a 22″ LCD TV. Yes, a 22″ LCD TV. The size is rather unique. And there is a good reason for that. You see, the LN22A650, despite the “650” number, uses a LCD monitor panel. Don’t believe me? Check out the pixel format: 1680 x 1050. Ever seen that before? I bet you have, on almost all 22″ LCD monitors. Now the Touch of Color design is cool, without a doubt. But stick a LCD monitor panel in there that’s slow as molasses, do a TOC makeover, add a bit of image processing technology (DNIe+) and some CE input (like HDMI and Composite) and you get a cool LCD TV? No. You get a decent TN+Film (not-so-good viewing angle) based 22″ LCD monitor that’s way overpriced. If you’re going to get this, just get the T220, which is a TOCized 22″ LCD monitor with DVI for about $320 (PriceGrabber).
