The Eee PC 901 has a price. According to Engadget (source US Pricing) the price is $599 for both Linux and Windows XP versions. There are several reviews as well from Laptop and Stuff.
This is according to a translated page generated by Google with the original content coming from blogeee.net (French). The Eee PC 901 seems to be little different from the Eee PC 900 from the outside. On the inside, the Eee PC 901 will sport Intel’s ATOM CPU. One thing that blogeee.net found was that there is no Asus marking on the Eee PC 901. So Asus might be attempting to initiate the Eee brand starting with the 901. A lot more pictures can be seen at blogeee.net.
DigiTimes via Engadget is reporting that the Eee PC 901 will be available June 3 with a price of around $650. And for the first time the Eee PC will come sporting Bluetooth. Nothing lasts forever and so it is with the Eee PC. It came out small, cute, light, affordable and now it is getting bigger, not-so-cute because of the getting-bigger trend, not-so-light and definitely getting beyond really-affordable territory. I think there is a HUGE opportunity for another company out there to grab the sub-$500 ultra-portable notebook PC market.

Asus will be announcing its Atom-based 8.9″ Eee PC 901 and 10″ Eee PC 1001 tomorrow at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan. But there are pictures afloat cyberspace of a WiMax-enabled Eee PC 901 sporting a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi (802.11b/g/n), 20GB SSD for Linux or 12GB SSD for Windows, MMC/SD/SDHC card reader, and Intel’s Link 5150 WiMax chipset from the WiMax Expo show.
