Commodore UMMD 8010/F: 10.2

Commodore. Commodore 67 comes to my mind. Ah, the good ol days. This time Commodore is busting out and joining the netbook party with its 10.2″ UMMD 8010/F. It sure isn’t going to be as easy to remember as the Commodore 67.

The UMMD 8010/F sports a 10.2″ wide TFT LCD with a pixel format of 1024 x 600, pretty much like everyone else (ASUS N10, Lenovo IdeaPad S10, MSI Wind U100, etc.). Commodore’s netbook doesn’t rock an Intel Atom but instead VIA’s C7-M CPU. Commodore isn’t the only one that’s using VIA’s C7-M. Everex, Pioneer, Maxdata and a couple of others all sport it. The US$600 price tag seems to be a bit on the high side with a 80GB HDD, 1GB RAM and WiFi.
