Toshiba 46ZF575D: 46

Toshiba‘s Resolution+ technology that sharpens details, smoothes edges, upscales to non-1080p video content to 1080p and a host of other wizardly that makes sure that whatever you see on the 46ZF575D will be at their best. The power that makes this happens comes from Cell processors, the same that power Sony’s PlayStation 3. According to what was posted on engadget’s site, there are multiple Cell processors. How many, I do not know. What I am assuming is that the video processing will be quite thorough since the Cell processor is mighty powerful when it comes to crunching graphics. The doubled-up frequency of 100Hz should get rid of motion blur, aided by a competent 6ms response time. The 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio seems a bit on the low side, but for a LCD TV that uses a regular CCFL backlight, that’s not too shabby.
