Casio Exilim W63CA: Cameraphone with 3.1

According to OLED-Info the 3.1″ AMOLED on the Casio Exilim W63CA is manufactured by Samsung. The 3.1″ AMOLED sports a pixel format of 800 x 480 (landscape mode) and is probably one of the highest resolution mobile phone displays out there. Apple‘s iPhone has a 3.5″ TFT LCD with a pixel format of just 480 x 320. That is a BIG difference. Couple the incredible number of pixels in such a small but high-tech AMOLED display with a 8.1MP digital camera and you’re looking at a gadget that can seriously challenge those who carry both mobile phone and digital camera to carry just one device. We will have to see how good the digital camera is but with all those advanced features mentioned above it looks like it’ll be at least decent. Another cool feature of the W63CA is that you can flip the beautiful display out, turn it around and fold it back to make it look and act like an advanced digital camera with a large LCD (in this case AMOLED) viewfinder! All in all the Casio Exilim W63CA looks very good.
