JVC introduced its LT-42WX70 42″ LCD TV at CES on January 7, 2009. The LT-42WX70 sports a very wide color gamut that covers 96% of Adobe RGB and 100% of sRGB. The 1080p-capable LCD TV also has a 4000:1 static contrast ratio, which is very good. The LT-42WX70 also features detacheable tuner box, the TU-CX100, that can be put elsewhere. This is done to slim down the overall thickness of the LT-42WX70 and give you the flexibility and convenience of connecting cables away from the back of the TV itself. If you were mounting the LT-42WX70, the TU-CX100 comes in very handy.
