Sony‘s KDL-52W5100 the largest of the W5100 series that include two additional sizes: 46″ (KDL-46W5100) and 40″ (KDL-40W5100). The KDL-52W5100 sports a 1920 x 1080 pixel format and a 120Hz frequency for motion blur-free video. Finally, a design that is simple and unobtrusive. I really don’t like getting distracted by any annoying lights (especially big circular ones) while I’m trying to enjoy a movie (hint: LG).

One of the more interesting features of the KDL-52W5100 is that it is networked. The Ethernet connection can directly access Sony’s BRAVIA Internet Video content that pulls movies, TV content and music from Amazon Video On Demand, YouTube, Yahoo!, Sony Pictures, Sony Music, etc. You can also waste your time fiddling with the BRAVIA Internet Widgets that is powered by Yahoo!’s Widget Engine that let you get distracted while watching TV with Yahoo!’s content offering that include: News, Video, Finance and Flickr.
