Nintendo‘s DSi is “… slimmer, sleeker, lighter…” than the DS Lite. The DSi sports larger LCDs: 3.25″ versus the dual 3.0″ LCDs that were on the DS Lite. One more brightness setting and at the lowest brightness setting you can get 9-14 hours. That’s quite a bit less than the 15-19 hours on the DS Lite.
There are also two 0.3MP cameras: one on the front and one on the back. Video conferencing? Or having your face up on a game? Sounds like fun. The DSi can also connect to the Internet using the built-in WiFi. I’m guessing you can play with other DSi players that are on the wireless network. The DSi should hit stores in just a few days. There are a ton more pictures over at Engadget.
