Need to work and watch TV at the same time? Need 1080p? Limited budget? Well, look no further: Samsung has come out with the 2333HD. It’s a 23″ LCD monitor that sports a 1920 x 1080 pixel format or in other words you can pump 1080p HD content into it and it’ll be able to play it back without scaling. That’s not all. It has an integrated ATSC TV tuner so you can watch TV. Nice!
The 23″ TFT LCD is of the TN variety. What that means is that it will be affordable but the viewing angles will not be excellent. It’s just 160/160. But that shouldn’t be a problem since the 2333HD will be sitting right in front of you while you’re watching. Sports buff? Stay away sincd it doesn’t have any motion blur-busting technologies like 120Hz. But if you’re willing to tolerate some motion blur for a 23″ LCD monitor that you can use to work and watch TV, the Samsung 2333HD is a good choice. The price isn’t that bad either at just $369.95 at Amazon. There seems to be a refurbished version going for $279.00! Check out the link below.
