Akihabara News’ Daimaou:
… the HTC Touch HD2 is a perfect mix of plastic, glass and aluminum.
Fastest: The Touch HD2 is fast, thanks to a 1GHz Snapdragon, the fastest mobile CPU on the market today. The 4.3-inch multitouch LCD with cover glass featuring a 800 x 480 resolution, in landscape mode, looks big and absolutely beautiful. Comparatively the iPhone‘s LCD is just 3.5-inch and the resolution is limited to 480 x 320. I really appreciate the ultra-thin bezel around the LCD: Apple certainly has something to learn in this regard. The camera features a five megapixel auto-focus sensor with dual-LED. No internal storage but the Touch HD2 sports a microSDHC slot.
WINMO 6.5? Windows Mobile 6.5 is a letdown but HTC makes up for it with the excellent Sense UI. BTW, The Engadget Show 003 discusses HTC’s Sense UI with Drew Bamford, Director of User Experience at HTC. According Drew, the Sense UI enables content organization around people, so connecting to them can be made easier. HTC pushed the boundaries of WinMo 6.5 and will be doing that with Android with bigger displays and more powerful processors according to Drew. Source: Akihabara News
