HDI 100-inch 3D Laser TV

HDI (www.hdi3d.com), a California startup, developed a 100-inch 3D TV using lasers as the light source. The first batch has been manufactured in China. May is the magical date when this monstrous 3D experience can be yours. For a price around US$10,000 to $15,000. Volume production is expected to commence around Christmas 2010. The only other laser TV that I know of is Mitsubishi’s LaserVue: the 65-inch L65A90 goes for around $7000 on Amazon. Specs: 3-watt RGB laser source, ultra color space >200% NTSC, dual 1080p microdisplay imagers. Source: San Jose Business Journal via 3D-Display-Info, Engadget
