Tokyo-based Cerevo has came out with a digital camera that auto-uploads your photos, the Cerevo Cam. You can send it to Cerevo Life, the company’s photo management site, email addresses or a bunch of web services: Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, TwitPic, Picasa and other Japan-only sites. The Cerevo Cam does that by detecting WiFi hotspots and automatically uploads the pictures. You are not involved. Don’t want to depend on spotty WiFi hotspots? You can connect a 3G modem via the USB connection or use something like a MiFi. Here are the specs: 9 megapixel CMOS image sensor, 2.4-inch TFT LCD, WiFi BGN, MicroSD. The Cerevo Cam comes in black or white for about US$225 and is available in Japan. Source: TechCrunch
