I’m currently reading the book Disconnect by Devra Davis and wanted to share some rather disturbing information. On page 61:
For the past five years scientists in Moscow have been following two groups of children–one of which uses mobile phones and the other not. […] The Russian researchers found changes in the working of the brains of cell phone users ranging from decreased capacity to work, increased fatigue, decrease in attention and semantic memory, and significant loss of the ability to tell the difference between different sounds.
There is more, a lot more. I was reading through this chapter and decided that this information needs to be shared. Children have skulls that are much thinner than adults and cell phone radiation can penetrate deeper. I have three children and the findings in this book are opening my eyes to the potential dangers of cell phones. Disconnect on Amazon.
